Moving to India

I wanted to share a friend of mine with you who I hold dearly to my heart.
Dominic Hsieh or 'Dom' is a professional fashion photographer friend who has recently chosen to take a photography teaching position at an exclusive school in India, moving from Australia.
This is new and exciting to him, and full of opportunities which he has had to make sacrifices for.

I have been wondering how he has been doing, and I recently got an email from him, so I wanted to share with you what he wrote to me:

Virus or something more?

Abbie has had a high fever for the past 3 days, today being the third day. She is 6 years old, has had a bit of a runny nose, and her fevers have been 104.3 or so. NOW she has developed a rash- so I was sure it was Roseola.

Only 1 problem- I cant find anything on it being found in kids older than 4 yrs old. Jacob had roseola just last month, so I realized the symptoms right away when her rash was noticable today. Im just concerned that it might have something to do with her Polyarticular JRA (Juvanile Rheumatoid Arthritis), which would upgrade it to Systemic JRA- the worst kind yet.

*UPDATE* Finally, after the rash and then a horribly runny nose the last day of her sickness, everything cleared up. Just a Yucky flue. Apparently, the boys have it now, too. Fun, fun, fun.

Gracie's First Day of School

BTW- I had to change the permissions limiting comments to Registered Blogger Users and do a few other things because I somehow managed to pick up a cling-on SPAM troll. If you would like to comment, I would love to hear it- just quickly sign up for a blogger account. I think my comment page gives you an option to register? If not, you can always try Blogger Homepage.

Dont mess with Little old Texas Ladies

This is really funny. Just remember, when you are in Texas- if you hit a carload of little old ladies and try yelling at them as if it's their fault- you better watch your back...
