As Time Flies....

SO! I hit the big 26 weeks today. I'm due August 14th, so... in 2 more weeks it's my third trimester.
We found out we're having a girl and we're having fun trying to figure out names!
I've decided to deliver at OHSU this time because they offer waterbirths. It's a big step given the fact I've been with my midwife here for almost every pregnancy in Oregon. She delivered Daniel and saw me throughout my pregnancy with Jacob and then for my pregnancy relating in miscarriage in 2007- and through this one.
The thing is- there is no guarentee that I will be able to have her through my birth. The midwives do rotations, so... if there is a big chance I wont get to see her, I might as well opt to try and have the natural water birth. My midwives that I've been seeing only devlier at Providence ST. Vincent.. and they wont allow waterbirths.

Also, I've finally tranfered Abigail to Shriners Portland again. It took a while but Abbie has been struggling with a JRA flareup. Shriner's hospital is across from OHSU, so I scheduled my midwivery apt and pregnancy diabetes glucose test for the same day as Abigail's appointment.

It's crazy how quickly things are going now. I savor every day- I jsut dont want to rush through this pregnancy.

Week 8: What? 8 weeks of WHAT?

Well, since you had to ask, I am 8 weeks into my sixth pregnancy. *smile*

Yup! We are having another baby!
I'm pretty bummed that we lost most of my blog from Danny's pregnancy earlier in the blog here, from 2002, but such is life right?
His pregnancy certainly was eventful.
I figure I should just make a pregnancy blog instead of cluttering up my generic blog with lots of baby weeks and bloated gas pains and discharge or who knows what, and maybe I will.
So far I'm having rather heightened morning sickness (which doesn't just occur in the morning mind you) and food adversions this time, almost as bad as it was with Abigail. Also given the fact that your breasts get tender, so when I get up in the middle of the night I have to hold myself up with my hands. Sleeping in a brasier isn't my idea of fun, but it may be something I have to do.

The good news was that we saw a little heartbeat in my ultrasound, so I'm not expecting to birth this little one any time soon! Everyone is hoping for a boy to even out the boy/girl ratio to 3/3.
