Good Morning, Turtle.
A buddy left me a dream in a message last night in a chat window, it really made my day this morning, too!:
ok dream is....
your walking through a really dense fog, cant see your hand of your out stretched hand when you happen upon a mirror that seems broken, when you reach out to touch it, it disappears.
When you retract your hand it reappears but as a different shape and a different color of frame. When the frame is a read hexagon you touch it this time and feel a sharp pain that runs through your arm and explodes in to your head
red hex..*
When you retrieve your senses you see a reflection of a pond with but one frog on the shore being chased by a big black snake that seems cant climb on shore to catch its pray. until the frog hops in to the lake as if it is just tired of running and gives up.
During the struggle the frog and snake are tangled up in a fisherman's net that came up from the bottom of the lake and then are both dragged under, when you peer into the water you see thousands upon thousands of leach's writhing just beneath the surface, feasting on the both the snake and the frog.
You then look down the shore and you see a red canoe, you climb in and there is but one hexagon shaped oar you climb in and start to paddle across the lake to the other side when you get close it appears the wind is blowing through the trees as you get a better look its millions of hornets swarming their nests, they spot you leave their nests and give chase.
You paddle frantically trying to escape but in your fury you capsize the canoe and the leaches begin immediately to cover your body and dig in everything goes black, when you awaken you are on top of a mountain looking across a valley as the sun rises exposing the valley below.
There is a small dried up creek bed running thru the lush green foliage of the trees below. just then you hear the call of an eagle from far above with a salmon in his talons. He seems to look at you and drop the salmon at your feet. you then realize you are starved and prepare the fish to eat. As the fish is done cooking a turtle walks up and asks "Are you gonna eat that?"

Yahoo!'s cold shoulder to Macintosh
As I chatted in my normal ichat chatroom with other fellow macintosh chatters recently, I came upon some new people I hadn't met before.
"Apparently Yahoo! Chat stopped using java so we cant chat anymore there and have moved here."
Other than meeting some cool new friends who didnt know AIM had other macintosh chat rooms without bots, ads, and the such, I realized just how much Yahoo! is missing out on. They are turning a cold shoulder to all the Macintosh market by catering only to PC platfrom users. It's obviouse just how MUCH Yahoo! is ignoring macintosh by their blatent void of help for the macintosh Messenger chatters who already have better options via ichat which uses AOL instant messenger. This is also a growing problem in their games and other areas and services.
We are now seeing a trend as more and more people turn to other forms to chat, games, and overall information other than yahoo!.
Yahoo! Chat has already turned off a majority of decent classy people with the over abundance of bots, troll spammers, and pornography ads. Some people have claimed to have over 20,000 members on their banned list just to be able to talk in the chatrooms.
Some now consider this a relief as they convert over to more tollerable forms of chatting, and the question lies here- will Yahoo! catch on in time or will the bad taste of Yahoo! leave Mac users booing?

ABC News: Yoga With a Christian Bent
I would personally LOVE to do this. I, too, feel uncomfortable with the eastern foundational philosophy involved with chiropractic & naturalpathic care, as well as yoga. I would like to do something along these lines!
How did you find me?
Apprently, the freak that Tom Cruise is has BOOSTED the amount of hits I've been getting this month. Mainly because the most searched keyword my website I'm getting this month is 'placenta'.
What? Tom wants to have a little placenta snack after his baby is born? What's a palcenta? Well I have a great one here that everyone is just so gleeful over. :-)
Have you looked at your webstats lately?

Strange Days
Yesterday my maintenence guy and fellow friend was kind enough to bring over his SteamVac™ Dual V™ Widepath™ With Auto Rinse™ Carpet cleaner for me to use. I reccomend it fullheartedly. It was simple to use, not too expensive for the soap, and it lasted quite a while.
So, after all the hard work of vacumming, picking up things, moving furniture, steamcleaning and scrubbing spots- I had a perma-grin for the rest of the evening because of my newly clean home. Nothing beats the feeling like you can actually LAY on your carpet and not sit up dirtier than when you layed down.
Back to today- I decided I would go off to a few bargain stores for some cheap-n-good items. I went to a Liquidators World where there was discount dry food- got a few items from there. One, of which, was this special coffee. Opening the package this evening, it smelled rather similar to fresh earth. After brewing it, it tasted no different. So, I'm calling it my earth coffee. It's very different, and we all need a change of tastes once and a while.
I then headed off to Value Village. There, I picked up a pair of shoes for all 5 kids, some outfits for Eva, and best of all- a Bell & Howell One Nine 8MM video camera. It's as if my little creative teacup has been filled!
Now, Im off to see where I can find both the film that goes to it and any willing person to explain to me how to work the thing.

LIberal teachers Lambasted
By Jennifer Talhelm
Sean Allen, a Colorado high school student spoke during a conference on academic freedom in Washington on Friday. Allen, who taped his geography teacher giving a rant on President Bush relating himto Adolf Hitler, created furor about classroom indoctrination. Education critic David Horowitz awarded Allen a trophy, urging students across the country to follow Sean Allen's lead and expose their teacher's political teaching.
Good Morning, World!
"Ooooh, ahhhh, arrrrooooohhhh!" she proclaimed in a soft, fairy-like way. It was enough to melt the both of us- even first thing in the morning, sleepers not yet out of our eyes.

Hormones...Attack!
This means my hormones are ballancing out, creating havoc on my skin... oh GEEZE!
People wonder why I look so young...? Pregnancy, my dears, pregnancy.
Your hair is wonderful (until afterwards whene it falls out), your skin is serene and perfect (although you might get more polkadots as I call them, or little mini burst capillaries which can be easily covered up with makeup), your breasts are full, it's wonderful.
Now I'm just a greasy haired, pimple faced, leaky boobed woman. Go figure.

Breast infections
Well, they say laughter is the best medicine.
I've been very ill for the past 2 days. The night before last I had a fever of 102.3 with major aches and paines, and a lingering migraine from the previouse night before that. Ibuprofin wasnt doing much, and since it was my 2 week post partum checkup and Eva's 2 week checkup- I was stuck being out and about.
On top of that, I have had a really ouchy boob on my left side. It was only in 1 spot, and I've never dealt with this before personally, but the first thing that came to mind was- could this be mastitis acting up on TOP of getting this horrible flu? Jay helped me out that night because I was literally deliriouse with the fever- the chills were getting the worst of me.
Last night my fever was only 101.2 but I still had a rough time sleeping and my breast hurt really bad- almost like someone punched me in it really hard.
With the pain lasting throughout the day today, I decided to look up on it and, sure enough- I have all the telltale signs of Mastitis (a breast infection).
No fun, I tell you. The fever, the pain, the achiness- all of that with a bit of red in the area and I can tell it's what is ailing me.
No fair, no fun, and Im calling my midwife in the morning to see if there is anything else I should be doing Im not already doing.

| P E R F E C T | Photo Cards
This is a great website. Formerly known as Ofoto.com, it is a wonderful place to upload your digital images and make announcements, invitations, and photocards out of- as well as just prints.
I used them 2 years ago when they were Ofoto to create the baby announcement for Jacob, and again this year for Eva's announcement (seen on the previouse post).
Best of all, they have wonderful customer service. I received my baby announcements today in the mail that I had ordered a few days ago (all done online) unfortunately, the picture of Eva was severely over saturated and dark.
I called their customer service line and told them of the probelm, and without making me re-send in the old announcements, they credited me for the price of the announcements AND credited me for a rush 2 day ship fed ex shipment credit. Apparently, there was a special Kodak touch advanced option selected that brightens the colors of the images on regular photos- however mine was perfect to start with, so it ruined it. He told me I could de-select that option to fix the problem.
Overall, I am very very happy with the experience of their services as well as the support I received when a problem occurred.

Another reason I wont birth in Florida again
need I say too much more?
My last birth experience was horrible in FLorida, although it wasnt Orlando. The overal attitude of the nurses and doctors as well as medical care was horrible. They cooked my son in an incubator and snottily snapped at me when I asked where my baby was. They gave him an IMPROPER circumsision, missing part of his foreskin then telling me it looked 'normal', you know... bleeding, red, swollen and painful? And the list goes on.

Drama Labor
Now I literally feel- like crap. I just feel tired, drained and depressed- not because of how things are going, but because it's just the way my body feels, my hormones have taken a downward .
My mother is going to try and come out starting this weekend, but honestly- Im not sure what will become of this or if it will happen within a week, or what not. My body teases me relentlessly, and Im not tired of being pregnant- Im tired of being inbetween Progress and idleness.
Make up your mind, I say.
Either DO SOMETHING and make progress towards the birthing goal, or just let it be, and let me be happy. :-)
From here, all one can do is put their hands up in the air, throw their heads back, and laugh like a villian who thinks they are getting away with the loot.
Jay is also leaving next thurs or friday to leave for an interview (flight) so now I'm thinking about the 'what if's".
Worst comes to worst, I will have the baby, Jay will be gone- but oh well. The goal is that the baby is out, but I will feel sad for the missed opportunity to see the last one born, on his behalf if that's what happens. Who knows anything anymore? Not i, because nature has it's own course, it's own science, and we think we are all so smart that we can drum to the same tune and beat. Heh heh heh , little do we know...

Rocking the Boat
I took it at 5:30am and I spent the rest of yesterday paying for it. NO contractions, just lots of toilette time, and a sore bottom.
Today My husband stripped my membranes a bit more- he was able to feel all around her head, and that had definitely stirred things up. Im having stronger contractions, only they are a good 10 min apart. He says Im at about 2 centimeters dilated, and hopefully these contractions will start to dilate me more. :-)

Coaching Women During Childbirth Has Little Impact
Friday, December 30, 2005
Last Updated: 2005-12-30 10:07:19 -0400 (Reuters Health) By Susan Heavey
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Pregnant women coached through their first delivery do not fare much better than those who just do what feels natural, according to a study released on Friday.
Researchers at the University of Texas Southwestern found that women who were told to push 10 minutes for every contraction gave birth 13 minutes faster than those who were not given specific instructions.
But they said the difference has little impact on the overall birth, which experts say can take up to 14 hours on average.
"There were no other findings to show that coaching or not coaching was advantageous or harmful," said lead author Dr. Steven Bloom, the interim head of obstetrics and gynecology at the Dallas-based university.
"Oftentimes, it's best for the patient to do what's more comfortable for her," he added.

Controling the freak in Me
Unfortunately, I refuse to lay down and obey, so I tend to be more of a pain than my medical professionals like, I think.
Im not rude or mean- Im just really informed, I like to ask questions and have a lot of control in the different processes that I go through and most holier-than-thou doctors and the nurses that adore them clash with my flambouyance.
I also get frusterated when I KNOW that there are things people can do to make life easier for me, only they feel they have the professional right to make life easier on themselves, instead.
Like nurses who flick on the bedroom lights in the hospital at 3 in the morning to take vitals- at this point in my life, they would be lucky if I let them off with any accompolishment in their vital's-taking-journey, let alone without a toungue lashing.
I swear Im going to post a rules of this room on my door when I give birth, or at least a warning sign.
"WARNING! Informed and opinionated mom inside. Medical Personell Beware!"
On top of that, I really feel I need the hospital stay for my peace of mind which almost seems like an oxy moron. I dont have a household where the husband effectively pampers you or keeps the kids in line, so I would really be stressed out if I did come home early with the little baby and a 6, 5, 3, and 2 yr old to manage, too.
I've been nesting like a wild woman- trying to control as much as I have in my control until I no longer have a choice.
The "what-if's are driving me loony, and "Relax" is not in my vocabulary for at least another, oh- who knows?
I still have to get together a bag of clothes for the kids in case this all happens in the middle of the night or early morning, I have to get a baby bag together, a bag for ME, a printed out list of people's info I want to inform once real labor begins, instructions for whoever ends up watching the kids which can be anyone since we dont know anyone, really. *SIGH*
I also wanted to have a folder available for all the paperwork they load you with afterwards- the information sheets, the wavers, etc.
I also need to get some sort video camera lined up (I have one that takes little clips but thats it).
I need to get the kids rooms in order, too- something manageable.
They all pulled out bins with old clothes, toys, blankets etc which is intermixed with their own stuff. I have to get as much out of their reach as possible so that they are manageable when Im on my baby vacation *grin*.
I still dont have a new bassinet (with the drop down side) that I wanted to get, I have a crib with a bassinet attachment but it's too tall and hard to reach for night nursing, as well as has holes cut in the netting on the sides.
MAN, I feel nuts.
Somebody crack me open and make some nice baklava out of me....
