Hauntings from a Christian perspective

Recently my best friend sent me some images her family members took on their cell phone of recent paranormal happenings, including faces, forms, and levitating Bibles.

After contemplating this a bit I came to this website with a christian perspective on ghosts and hauntings that make a lot of sense to me.

I have had personal experinces with the paranormal from the ouija board to more intimate experiences, and since I have developed my relationship with God I havent struggled with it as I once did.

I reccomend you read over his page. :-)

Broken Birthing

Well, I've hit 24 weeks now, and I'm also considering exactly what my plan will be in birthing this kiddo.

Unfortunately- I must have pulled a muscle or really irritated my lower back sciatic, because I'm in a world of hurt today. It really put into perspective the next 111 days ahead of me and my seperated symphysis, or seperated pubic bone.

After reading a few articles on WHAT on earth I might be able to do to relieve myself of any more discomfort from this condition, I am finding my hope is bleak.

Not only is there very little I can do right now to make this feel better, but there is a whole lot more I HAVE to do to prevent it from getting worse. Lists of ways I cant bith, "NO induction, no epidural, no laying on your back, no laying on your side, no this, no that..." Really all I found I was allowed to do was squat, sit and stand.

This is very frusterating since, when you get to that point, your muscles twitch and shake and you dont feel like bearing any load on them. I had my heart set on the same type of birth I had with Daniel. I went into labor with him the morning after his due date, birthed in the tub for 45 minutes (in that time went from 3-10 cent) and after 15 min of pushing, out came a healthy vibrant, awake and curiouse little boy. NO pain meds, no induction, just good old fashion body endorphins, midwife, hospital comforts away from multiple needy kiddos, and love.

When I broke the news to the main midwife at my clinic I finally had the chance to meet, she folded her hands in her lap and looked at me as if I had just informed her I had cancer. Very somber and empathetic. They just had a few ladies give birth with the condition recently.

Where am I mentally now? Well, I'm hopeful. I'm hopeful that it will be swift and easy and memorable. How many people have 6 pregnancies in 7 years? This may very well be my last, and I might as well enjoy every last painful bit. :-)

BLAZING pumpkin heads

Kerosene Soaked Toilet Paper- With Video

This is awesome. I totally want to do this if it wont piss my neighbors off more than they are already for no apparent reason.

Just not sure if anyone would want to walk all the way down our driveway to our house....

Kitty Litter Cake

This cake tastes SO GOOD! And it's totally gross to look at.

Ingredients:
1 (18 oz.) box spice or german chocolate cake mix
1 (18 oz.) box white cake mix
 1 pkg. white sandwich cookies
1 large box vanilla instant pudding mix
 12 small tootsie rolls
1 litter box (preferably a NEW one!)
 1 plastic scoop
 green food coloring

Preparation:
Prepare cake mixes and bake according to directions (any size pans).

Prepare pudding mix and chill until ready to assemble.
Crumble white sandwich cookies in small batches in blender, they tend to stick, so scrape often.
Set aside all but about 1/4 cup.

To the 1/4 cup cookie crumbs, add a few drops green food coloring and mix using a fork or shake in a jar.
When cakes are cooled to room temperature, crumble into a large bowl.
Toss with half the remaining white cookie crumbs and the chilled pudding. You probably won't need all of the pudding, mix with the cake and "feel" it, you don't want it soggy, just moist; gently combine. Put mixture into clean litter box.

Put three unwrapped Tootsie rolls in a microwave safe dish and heat until soft and pliable. Shape ends so they are no longer blunt, curving slightly. Repeat with 3 more Tootsie rolls and bury in mixture.
Sprinkle the other half of cookie crumbs over top. Scatter the green cookie crumbs lightly over the top, this is supposed to look like the chlorophyll in kitty litter.
Heat remaining Tootsie Rolls, three at a time in the microwave until almost melted.
Scrape them on top of the cake and sprinkle with cookie crumbs.

Place the box on a newspaper and sprinkle a few of the cookie crumbs around.

Serve with a new pooper scooper.

Monday 3rd

Finally we have the home phone on... My number is *edited out*, we will apply for ADSL this week we were told it'll be 2 weeks (Indian time who knows?) at least we will be on 256K...

Well still no luck with the internet/GPRS on my phone, I gave the phone to a son of a mate of Brian's to fix last week, and I keep hearing tomorrow, tomorrow!!!

I am getting a bit board of the Indian food and have started cooking more at home. We have have an on going joke about Indian food.... They must hate food because the cook the "crap" out of everything, to make it all the same texture.... MUSH.... Add spices so you cant taste the ingredients.... So... HOT MUSH

Last week I had a quite night on Friday, my 'kids' all 5 of them are doing their assignments, they are doing very well. I will be accessing their work on Wednesday.

I worked for 3 hours on Saturday. In the afternoon some students escorted me to a village 3kms past our college. Where I met Brian for a cruse on our motor bikes. We went about 30ks and stoped by a "2 cow" town for a break. We became the highlight of the town, people came out of no where and started to crowd us and asking all sorts of question about Australia.
The elders then took us to see 2 temples they have, the second is about 100m out of the village was quite strange, it had icons from all religions, they kept asking for us to take shots. I have been told & I now believe that the mere fact of us taking time to take their photographs is enough for them, they don't expect prints or money. They wanted nothing for us just our time.

My bike skills are getting better, avoiding the pot holes, dogs, goats, donkeys, horses, cows. On coming autos, people, cars and buses... I came off once but it a low speed skid on a gravel near home, I am ok but twisted my wrist. I have now got bike gloves and looking for a open face helmet.

On Saturday night we were invited for dinner party at a students place Abdullah from Oman, he is nearly 50 and has 2 wives (looking for a 3rd) and 6 kids at home. He is in the armed forces and is in training to start a photographic department of the air force. But the department is now closed down, his funding is still flowing so this is his 3rd year of a 2 year course. What a strange night, there were Tanzanian students at the local pharmacy college, High ranking officers from armed services from
India, Tanzanian, Middle east and Asia who are at a local Military college, and us!!! We had middle eastern food (great to eat meat again!!) and African food he flew out from home, which was a bit bland. We spent the night learning to dance African, its all about loose shoulders and hips. Brain and I keep saying to each other " Who would have imagined 20 years ago at Prahran college we would be doing this"

Some of the younger students who had their own gathering at the students compound/apartments, decided they wanted us to join them. So some of them came by Abdullah's house to pick us up, so in the middle of the night we were whisked off to another party. Well at 6 am I fell asleep on the floor (out lasting most of them at almost twice their age!!) to be awaken at 7.30am by the cleaner who wanted to talk to me, I couldn't find anyone in the house so I promptly walked out and "autoed" home. Brian who didn't go to the second party, was up so we talked and went rode into town.

Met up with the students for a recovery lunch and rode off to a Naturel hospital for a massage. What a strange place the place it was, it looked like something from the film "One flew over the cuckoo's nest" Its sort of like a "health spa" from the 30's with weird old contraptions for hydro therapies etc. It looked as if remained unchanged since the British left... And probably uncleaned as well... The massage was with 2 man and LOTS of aromatic oils, I felt like I was being prepared for to be deep fried. I thought the massage was crap but for $8.. It was worth the visit.

Today was mad at the college Igbal was finishing a 4 day course for 35 under grads from a near by Uni, Brian started a 7 day course with 8 students. The short courses are hard work because you have to teach or demonstrate the whole time. I don't start that until the 7th Nov... Digital then the week after fashion....

I still haven't worked out why the siren goes off at 6 am and 6pm, I have asked several people they just do the head wobble. Which I cant work out as well. When you ask a question they go silent and "wobble".... Huh?
